Caves & Cliffs Experimental Features Toggle for Minecraft Bedrock Edition Beta

With all the buzz surrounding the new Bedrock Beta, let's make sure you're able to set yourselves up and help test out the new features. In beta 1.16.200.50, the Experimental Features toggle has been updated to make doing so just that little bit easier. Here's how to get started.

When creating a new world:

  • Select ‘Create New’ on the world selection screen

Caves & Cliffs features available in beta behind the experimental toggle:

  • Features that are under development and intended to be released in the second Caves & Cliffs Update.

If you are using a world that was created previously that you're particularly attached to then please note that betas can potentially make worlds incompatible with future versions of Bedrock. While copies of your world are generated automatically in the event of something going wrong, you're also able to create copies of your world manually as an extra precaution.

And there you have it, you're all set to start trying out exciting future features coming to Minecraft Bedrock. Happy experimenting!
